Welcome
I'm Joyce Hanlon, a project manager and owner's representative based in New York City.

I'm a Project Manager and Owner's Representative at The Projects Group, managing institutional as well as residential projects.
Prior to my current role, I was a Project Designer at Snøhetta, where I worked for eight years.
I keep complex projects on track and aligned.
I represent ownership's interests across design, construction, schedule and budget — coordinating architects, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time and on scope.

While completing my Master of Architecture, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for The University of Texas at Austin. I also lectured on my editorial work of the UTSOA design publication, "ISSUE," at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and presented at a Parsons national exhibition opening on my 16-member research team's work covering U.S. detention facilities.
B.S. Architecture
University of Cincinnati, 2014
As an undergraduate architecture student at the University of Cincinnati, I showcased my prototype design for an emergency response shelter at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
As an owner's representative, I manage multiple concurrent institutional and residential projects throughout design and construction.
DESIGN
DESIGN
Over 12 years leading design for large-scale institutional projects gives me a designer's eye for detail while I currently represent owners.
BIM / COORDINATION
BIM / COORDINATION
I came up leading team workflows in Revit and Rhino, and I prioritize similar detailed technical coordination in the teams that I manage as an OR to minimize change orders and schedule adds.
